This is a comparison between craters found in the vicinity of Opportunity and a cluster of similar craters found nearby, also in Terra Meridiani. Click the links to view the original images.

At right is a descent camera image of Opportunity's landing area. The large crater may be close enough for the rover to visit. To the left of the crater is a dark spot which is the shadow of the lander's parachute.

Below is an anaglyph of a cluster of craters similar to the one in the descent image. These craters are also in the Terra Meridiani region. The original MOC images are E0300624 and E0501878.
